Experience the magic of connection and intention-setting at a home in Ocean Park, Santa Monica, on October 21, at 6:30 PM.

At a time when the world may feel overwhelming, the new moon provides an opportunity to embrace change, healing, and renewal. We will share an evening of reflection in an inclusive community. Everyone is welcome.

We will start by learning about the uniqueness of the Heshvan (Scorpio) lunar cycle over supper. We will take a deep dive into Heshvan’s incubating and transforming nature. Next, we move to a sacred circle to listen and share from the heart.

Bring something for the circle that you can use as a talking stick.

There is a tradition that frames Heshvan as Mar, bitter. Together we can flip “MaR Heshvan” (bitter Heshvan) into RaM Heshvan (exalted Heshvan). There is a tradition that characterizes Heshvan as Mar, meaning bitter. Together, we can transform “MaR Heshvan” (bitter Heshvan) into “RaM Heshvan” (exalted Heshvan).
