The Wisdom of the Body

The wisdom of the human body, structure, power, fluidity is profound.   Job 19:26 teaches “From my flesh I will see (grock) The Divine (Elo-ah).”

The commentary in Sefer Yetzirah Mishnah 1, attributed to the Raavaad and believed to be written by R Yoseph Ashkenazi, references the human body as a model of  Divine architecture in some detail. Patterns repeat and this is one of powerful aspects of Kabbalah. As it is above, so it is below; the end is planted in the beginning.  The commentary begins,

It is incumbent upon you to know that for everything The Holy One of Blessing Created in the world, there is a corresponding part created in the human, as it is written, “We will make humans in our pattern” Genesis 1:26; and all this in order to contemplate within the revealed, the secret wisdoms.

As it is written, “From my flesh I will see (grock) The Divine (Elo-ah).” Job 19:26,

This means the tissues as are configured beneath my skin, – It (The Divine Pattern) is engraved within (the body and tissue). This means to say Atarah (Malkhut/Sh’khinah) so much so that all Her particulars and general aspects are engraved into humans. Therefore, from my flesh I will grasp The Divine.

If you want to get a deeper sense of The Source of All, probe into your own body.  It is a map of the Divine Structure and Movement. The Divine Presence is as close as your little pinky.
